You may wish to add your phone as a trusted device so you can start the vehicle only when your phone is present, this device will only allow the vehicle to start when you allow it do so after it has fulfilled your requirements, you may add a pin code using the factory buttons , a wireless tag or your phone. You can add all three at the same time. As standard a two point immobilization is added to the vehicle this can vary depending on the vehicle, if a thief or un authorized user attempted to remove the device it would lock down the vehicle totally. Anti Hijack systems will stop the vehicle safely if your vehicle was take from you allowing the required authorities to attend and recover the vehicle to safety. if your vehicle was taken with the key fob or the pin code was known the vehicle can still be shut down using the phone app or by calling the phone and instructing it to shut down.
